Our 4x4 all-wheel drive land excursions in Mauritius
Anyone who wants to get to know nature and the original beyond the tourist centers cannot avoid the Nature Trails land excursion in Mauritius. The German-speaking tour guide Alain shows you his home island exclusively on carefully selected routes, some of which lead through private land and cannot be driven on with a conventional car. You will experience breathtaking views over the island and the sea on the excursion. With the four-wheel drive Toyota Land Cruiser Deluxe or the Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 you can explore this beautiful and diverse nature. You will learn a lot about the country and its people and, on short walks, interesting facts about the island's flora and fauna.

Our Excursion will take you to the Tamarin Falls area (off the beaten track) which can only be reached by 4x4 Toyota or Nissan Pathfinder 4x4. The excursion begins with pickup at your hotel. Pass through places like Long Mountain, Pamplemousses, and Henrietta on the way to the viewpoints. The excursion then takes you through private sugar cane fields, pineapple plantations and vegetable fields. During our shore excursion you will see the entire north side of the island, hidden vantage points in lonely nature, the high plateau and the west, south-east and south coasts of the island of Mauritius. Of course, when the cane is ripe, Alain is very happy to make a stop and you can taste fresh cane. A visit to a pineapple plantation is also part of our land excursion. Our NatureTrails Tour continues to take you to special places where the "normal bus and taxi tours" don't go.
